The mission of the department is to provide high quality instruction in economics. The curriculum emphasizes the development of students' oral, writing and problem solving skills. The department promotes pure and applied research and consulting activities in domestic and international areas.
Economics majors are prepared to compete for jobs in business and industry, local, regional and national government agencies and social services institutions. The Economics major also is a good foundation for graduate training in Economics, Business, Law, Public Administration and other related fields. For more information come by our office or contact us.
